This date always brings on sad reflection on the short life and brilliant career of Maj George E Preddy JR. Top scoring ace in the famed 352nd Fighter Group that flew from Bodney with the Eighth Air Force during WW II ! Just wanted to offer a prayer for his life and what he accomplished in this time here ! Nice story from WRAL-TV in the capital city of Raleigh NC, the home state of Maj Preddy and his brother Lt Bill Preddy of the 339th who both lost their lives in the war ! Their memories live on with so many of us from around the world ! They both are buried in France !
