Melv, your legs are shrinking.
You’d better abandon Les Pauls permanently, they’re obviously too heavy.

Nah, legs have always been short. They only just reach the ground. That LP was fairly weighty but one of the ones I have now beats it! Mind you I can do a nice pose with a whole bunch of other guitars. The advantage of being in the business and all that. I think I am down to my last 28 guitars at the moment.

Even got a couple for sale.

Melv
in picture 2 why were gigging on what appears to be a building site????
Andy

Because we were gigging on what appeared to be a building site!

This was the Old Woking do about four years ago. We did it the following year too as a three-piece. Poor old Jim had gone by then. Got his wife a very good price on the guitar he had had for thrity years.

Fine…Rob Mears and I will start our own band, Rob on Guitar and me on drums….anyone joining? Need a bassist and and keyboard player and rhythym guitar, kinda like those guys in Deep Purple I saw 2 weeks ago….maybe Steve Morse the guitar player/airline pilot (true story) is free…

Mark

Right up my street . . .

A little self-indulgence now:

First, me in 1980. This is from my friend Nick Magnus’s collection and he used it on his webwite as I guested on his latest album.

Me and the old Band, poor old Jim on the left didn’t last much longer, he was v. ill then.

Guinness the Cat was the best critic. He hated me playing and would sit on me to stop me. Now, if only Kylie would do the same . . .

Me, looking a lot fatter than now, with a guitar that has a little history.

Looks like the Wixers world tour is going to be one hell of a summer. Hang in there guys, you’ll need a few weeks holiday to recover when you get back home.

Especially after a Kemble gig, mark my words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey,

CrazyMainer and Setter??

I found this website link to the WIX Tour dates via Google, but all it seems to have is lots of pictures of two naked guys, a donkey and some buxom School Mistress? dressed in PVC?

www.connivetheworld.com/wixworldtourdates.htm

I did find however eventually find the correct Tour Date info here

Hey Patterson I thought we…………………….

OK OK, enough about this Morris Dancing thing. I want it understood right now that Melv and I will not appear for anything less that 100 quid. Period. Otherwise the flowery hats stay in the closet.

You decide…Are you ready for some folk dancing??? Let’s rock!

Hey Patty,

I thought we agree to 50 quid but if you want 100 then thats fine I’ll talk with ConTheWorld on your behalf but that means you only get half of the official Wix Beer and only one case of Spitfire per show understood. 😮 😀

Cheers Crazymainer

So lets dance Can we say “SAFTEY DANCE”

Hi

I once had a Mitsubishi Pajero as they are call here in Aus

Got my face slapped in Spain when explaining it to a Spanish barmaid – something to do with a Donkey apparently. Not funny – she was very nice too!!! (the barmaid not the Donkey)

Regards John P
