Malaysia already purchased 10 initial units of MIL 17 from Russia to replace the SIKORSKY S61A4.The helicopters will probably be equipped with FLIR,radar,chaff/flares and western avionics.At the same time ,the goverment has also agree to procure SU 30MKM for the RMAF.The contract for the SU 30 will only be sign after certain details such as tech transfer are finalised by both parties.SA 16 IGLA worth US$50M :purchased to supplement the STARBURST in service.
