Has Malaysia ever put up an attack helicopter requirement? If they did I’m pretty sure the Hokum and Havok would appear not to mention the Rooivalk (I know they’ve had interest in that), as well as the Apache and Super Cobra… so what which would they pick? keeping in mind the humid climate of Malaysia? Not to mention political concerns as well.. Malaysia has shocked me recently..choosing the Polish tank over the Russian, Ukranian and Swedish offers, as well as being more interested in the SU-30MKM over the newer MiG-29s or Super Hornet.
The Rooivalk is one of the more heavier powerful ones, the Mokopa missle has slightly better range than the Hokums Vikhr (spelling might be wrong). The Hokum has the interesting coaxial rotor which has its pros and cons.. I dont know how good the Rooivalks armor is but the Russian designs are known for its sturdiness… the American ones are battle proven although their potential “rival” uses the Apache already..
