Malaysian Typhoon

i have just read a tweet off of FlightGlobal from a regional journal that says Typhoon is being offered to Malaysia for the MRCA.

Does anyone know any more than that?

The same source claims that the SH or Gripen are more likely….

Malaysia is not an easy country to pin down when it come to second guessing their procurement.

I think Gripen is unlikely because of the Thai purchase, and there is a lot of rivalry between Singapore and Malaysia…

They do already operate D Hornets, but does this naturally lead to the SH?
