Man air is the company name. AV8 is what they operate under.

I thought MAN Air was always intended to only be a set up name until they could finalise their plans.

Just spoke to my contact who worked with AV8 on their livery.
They were apparently going to be Man-Air.. but he suggested otherwise.
There were reasons, but I’m not at liberty to say.
