Firstly Grey area if you feel this thread needs to be moved please do so.
Hey everyone im online at collage. At the moment im doing an essay on aviation security since September 11th and ive noticed that most if not all airports have got rid of there viewing area. NCL for example there used to be a viewing platform but the week after September 11th it was sealed off.
So I was wondering if the AVP was ever closed after September 11th. If so how long was it closed for?
Cheers
Luke.

To the best of my recollection, none of the spectator facilities at MAN were closed at that time.
I might be wrong here but Iam sure that the top of the MSCP eas closed for a while,I remmeberbeing moved on by ths idiot of a security guy.
Like I said not sure if it was after 9/11 but I know it was closed for a while
