SQ SIN-MAN should become a daily 772 next year again. With rumours of 773ERs going on the route also.

At the moment, yes.

Speaking of SQ, is it just 772’s that they use on MAN routes?
By: bmi-star - 6th October 2006 at 17:17
No, going down to x5 weekly for the time being, as SQ don’t have any extra aircraft

Its difficult because the Airport is co-ordinated, i.e. you have to apply for slots. Airlines therefore have to consider far in advance some potential new routes, but as time draws on they often withdraw from any slots they have been awarded. Often this is why people think a route is being launched, when in truth its just airlines securing slots beofre they make business decisions, because the two do not necessarily go hand in hand.
Thai have identified MAN as a route they’d like to start in the ‘relatively’ near future, but as yet I’ve not heard anything about it being launched.

No flight to BKK from MAN has been announced.
I think the most recent long haul flights announced have been the GSM flights to Cape Town and Toronto.
