On 7th March we headed over to MAN for an overnight stop before flying to Brussels the following day. Needless to say, I did some spotting and got loads of photos. Here are the first lot, from the 7th March. The 8th March will follow later.

A Pendolino train in Manchester Piccadilly, I had never seen one of these before.

The train which took us to the airport.

A Monarch aircraft heads for take off.

We wondered what this was when we first saw it.

When it reached the terminal we saw it was Jet2 in a different colour scheme.

If anyone knows about the ID of this aircraft, please say, as I could find no airline logo on it.

Here it is again.

Flight SN2177 just landing from Brussels.

😀

😀

Always the highlight of my spotting!

SAS taxi-ing for take off.

British Airways Dash 8 approaching.

OO-VLV parking.

Thanks for the comments! Not knowing the Titan – that shows how often I get to go spotting (a couple of times a year at MAN and once at BHX for this year). The weather was a pain that day, but a little better the following day, when I got some better shots from the departure lounge as well as some from my fave spot in the cafe area. I managed to get loads of firsts though, and it was the best spotting I have ever had at MAN.

The aircraft you are unsure about is a Titan Airways Boeing 757. I didnt know Germania fly to Manchester, I know then fly to London Stansted and used to fly to Glasgow Prestwick.
