The sun shone for once! 😀

2) A319 I-BIMC of Alitalia.
3) B737-800 5B-DBV in the light blue version of Eurocypria’s scheme.
4) B747 AP-BFX of PIA – not may left in the old scheme now.
5) A330 C-FRAV of Skyservice.

Thanks very much, Pablo. You weren’t the chap in the corner with the rather nice cat lens, were you?

I wish I had a huge lens!!! I was only there for about 45 mins (12:05 – 12:50 approx), mostly stood on the corner of level 12 trying to capture the T2 movements. I have put a couple of pictures here.

Great pictures.Alitalia have also upgraded their Dublin to Rome flight from MD-80 to A319/A320 and so have Lufthansa A320/A321 instead of 733 and 735.

.

Elgan – the weather on Thursday was terrible. On landing the F/O told us that visibility was down to less than 800m.

As i’m sure u know,i was going down to LHR bout 1500, weather delayed the arrival of MIDC which influenced my day at LHR 🙁

Top shots chaps, very much like the A319 and A330 you’ve got to agree they look great.

1) Yes, there was a Monarch aircraft on T2. So far as I know it was just parked there – although I’m happy to be corrected.

2) There are at least 3 shades of blue on the Excel livery as applied to various aircraft in the fleet. I think it largely depends on who painted the aircraft, and when. 😉

Excellent weather compared to when i was there thursday!
Skyservice A330 hasn’t moved i see 😀

Great pictures Grey!!! 😀 – I was up on car park level 13 today at about the same time and will see what the quality of the pics is like when I get back home and whether any are worth posting. For reference, the Eurocypria was parked right outside my hotel room 😎 , along with the Excel 738 (don’t think it has moved since Thursday) and the Air Malta 320 this morning.

Elgan – the weather on Thursday was terrible. On landing the F/O told us that visibility was down to less than 800m.

Couple of quick questions:

1. Was there a Monarch parked up at T2 this morning? It looked as though it was at one of the far stands.

2. Have Excel changed the shade of blue used in their livery? The two that were parked on the apron seemed different.
