33 years to the day since I first went to an airport. Pity the same circumstances weren’t occurring today… though seeing a whole host of diversions (with an Air India 747 straddling gate 12 and a Gulf Air VC10 on Gate 46 on Pier A) without realising it did rather leave the wrong impression of how busy MAN was!
