Does anyone have any photo’s of inside Manchester Airport in the 80’s and 90’s. I remember the airport fondly back then and the airport even having a Harry Ramsden’s.

Chandeliers are long gone Im afriad, supposedly in storage somewhere though. There is a really good thread on PPRUNE somewhere with exactly the kind of thing youre after I think but I havent chance to look for it now. Have a search and see if its still there, might help you out.

Terminal 2 was built around 1992 and ive never understood why certain charters like Britannia and Air 2000 moved over but Airtours and Monarch remained in Terminal 1. I thought the plan was to make T1 scheduled and T2 charter back then.

No it’s gone they did some major rebuilding around 18 months ago. The toilets even now have them high speed hand driers, there is a food court up the escalators, they have done some major alterations. The pier where the widebodies normally are is still the same as it’s always been.
