Hi all:
Finding myself a bit rusty on the old shooting side after the winter hibernation, i found myself with a couple of days off, so, on thursday off i popped to Heathrow (Local pronounciation “EEFRAAR”) via MAN for an hour and Luton for a couple of hours into dusk. The fruits are below:
MAN.. Arrived up the mound just as the last take off on the left had gone… typical timing, these are all departing on the right trying to shoot when they would pass thru a bit of sun 😮

Unusual site at MAN???:
Then Luton:
Similarly hide and seek sun here too…

The below positioning out… must have been at 3000ft before going over the perimeter fence :dev2:
The below is a Glasgow based machine…i have NEVER seen this move from the GAT at GLA… now it follows me here!
Finally… it’s not Luton without one of these….
Thanks for looking…. working on the 1600 shots taken at Eefraar… I shall post edited versions of EVERY one on here in due course:p

Cheers Rob. First time i’ve been away on a spotting trip in nearly 2 years… Great to make a whole (2) day(s) at Heathrow….not done that since about 1995!!! great when work does’nt get in the way for a change.
Heathrow shots will follow later folks.
Thanks again.:D

I believe the Lufty A340 was Bayern Munich’s transport for their game against United.
Ahh of course!! forgot about that… explains the extra activity up the mound. Cheers Dan 😀

Looks like an interesting day out! Would be nice to see these exotic sounding “Eefraar” shots too. 😀
