Chaps,
I am working on a large scale Manchester (1/32). Due to this scale I wish to have a fully detailed bomb bay which of course
needs to be scratchbuild. Does anyone of you have a sketch showing the general lay out of the main structure?
Here’s a pic of the current state of the model.
Cheers

That is correct Jerry,
I have one photograph in the book by Robert Kirby showing only a general view of the area.
Together with the Lancaster information a passable structure must be possible.:D

Hi
The model is looking good 🙂
Something to check i maybe wrong 🙂
Going from memory of something i read a long time ago, the manchester bay internals are different from the lancaster, as the manchester was designed to carry two torpedoes, the lanc did not have this option.
cheers

Yes, they help very well. I’m interesed in the other ones too.
Thanks very much.
I am converting the 1/32 HK Models Lancaster. This was the mock up that was a Telford for two consecutive years.
The Lancaster kit is not ready yet but they are working hard on it. I always had a soft spot for the twin engined
forebear and I love hacking plastic about.
