I went to MAN once again today, my brother was doing his 1st tour and is doing tours right now on concorde in the viewing park! I only got two pics as it wasn’t that busy as we arrived later than usual, but here they are!

It will have been Eurofly who have exactly the same colour scheme as Alitalia. May even be there own charter division?
Anyway, they are doing the usual summer charters from Malpensa and Bologna(Rimini while it’s closed) as they have been doing for the past few years for the Italian tourists.
Thats a good point. I forgot about Eurofly.
I only saw it in the passing I was busy driving so couldn’t put to much attention into observing it.

I noticed an Alitalia A319/20 (didn’t get a good look) leaving EDi last night.
Anyone know what it was doing there?

thanks for all your kind comments, you can get very close to MAN’s runway, you want some good landing shots? Go to the airport pub as I call it! Want some good taxiing shots, got to the viewing park and for some good taking off shots wait untill they take off from what I call runway 2 and go on them feilds, I’ll show you an example of each if you want!?

Is it possible to acces that area by bus? I have driven on the wrong side of the road before, but using a rental car with the gear on the wrong side is kinda hard to get used too.
Yes you can get a bus from Manchester city centre and the airport itself!

From the viewing park, 24R/06L is very close!! Go to the vantage points on the other side and you pop up right by 24L/06R!!

How close can you get to the runway at MAN? It seems to be quite close, maybe something to do for next years holiday. 😉
