Manchester With A Compact

Nice results for a compact! Tinted windows are a pain, but the S90 has a custom white balance mode which should sort the green-ish tint out. It’s also easily corrected using the Colour Balance tool in PS if you use that. 🙂

Agreed, they’re far nicer than the Star Alliance logojets that’s for sure!

Since joining last year, Continental have had some of their aircraft painted up as Star logojets, and we get them quite often over here at LHR, but they’re all white with huge black ‘STAR ALLIANCE’ text along the fuselage, and then CO’s logo on the bottom towards the front, also in black. Frankly they look hideous in my opinion and should be re-designed asap, especially seeing as the Star Alliance is considered to be the best alliance in the world!

The KLM Skyteam was joined by a Delta 757 also in Skyteam colours – nice to get 2 in the same morning 😀

Cheers Rob, I’ve been working at the airport during the World Cup, usually use a 40D with 70-200L, but didn’t want to draw too much attention inside the terminal so got myself the S90 – I’ve been suitably impressed with it so far, will be using it more next week – so may post a few more shots 😀

KLM Have two Skyteam Jets:

B737-900 & B777-300ER 😎 🙂

The Skyteam B737 is PH-BXO and it’s the only one.

– What’s the registration of that KLM “SkyTeam” logojet?
– How many “SkyTeam” logojets does KLM now have?

The reason I ask is because I haven’t as yet seen one or “it” at LHR, would sure be nice to see it down here at some point!:)
