Manston Airport to reopen

This news is still not 100% definite, but………

Mark Girdler has told me that he plans to reopen this weekend, as
insurance is being arranged.

Celebrate the reopening of Manston by coming to the museum this Sunday
morning to greet our visiting Spitfire and Hurricane at our 60th
anniversary of VJ day event.

Six offers for the airport were officially lodged on Tuesday, among
them some serious aviation proposals. The future could be very good.

Freight operators are waiting to come back in.
