Just returned from a week on the Isle of Man and looked everywhere for this book.
I even went to the authors house where a neighbour informed me that he
(Gordon Kniverton) unfortunately passed away 6 years ago. Even the guy at Ronaldsway museum had never heard of it?
Anyone out there have a spare copy or know someone who might?
I’ve tried all the ‘usual’ places.
Thanks all

I would be cautious with some of the information contained in the book as most of it was never cross-referenced. Gordon was a nice chap but took things at face value and there are a few glaring inaccuracies contained in it, but for a long time it was the only book available on the subject and used the best of the information available at the time, bearing in mind it’s almost 20 years old. I think I have at least one spare copy should anyone else require one.
A much better read on Manx aviation would be “Rough Landing or Fatal Flight” by Steve Poole, which would have been available at the Manx Aviation & Military Museum (The Ronaldsway museum you refer to).

Thanks for that!! All sorted. I went for the second one as it was a UK based shop. I must remember them next time I’m looking for something.
Cheers

abebooks.com have 4 listed, the cheapest from Colorado Springs (apart from the postage that is!)

I got mine at the airport bookshop at Ronaldsway several years ago. Can’t vouch for them having it now though. I might be able to copy a relevant passage if that would help. PM me if you think I can help
