Many Questions

What kind of Surface to Surface missles arm British warships( I was reading a naval website and I couldn’t tell, it seemed to me all the were armed with were SAMs and a deck gun.Not much of a naval man as u can see)? They talked of some having their exocets removed.
Why did USAFSOC retire their MH- 60 PAVE HAWKS,AFM once said they have been distributed to rescue squdrons & whats the story with the ones that supposedly patrol Groom Lake ? What unit are they attached to ?
Why did RAAF send Hornets to the gulf when the primary mission they were involved in was strike , and were flying in a relatively benign enemy fighter enviroment ? Only recently the F- 111’s participated in RED FLAG and performed exellently against the Yanks ( as usual ).
Also just wanted to know if Ja Worsenly( sorry bout the spelling ) has noticed all the talk in the press about how the budget is going to allow for the Australian army to aquire special mission helicopters, a subject I posted about not long ago on this very forum , I suggested a Special mission variant of the Merlin, one of the aircraft being suggested now . Unfortunately Ja shot me down in flames about the subject. What do u think now Ja ?
Is it true that the USN only has 133 surface combatants ( including subs ) ? that make them spread pretty thin over the globe I would think considering that at least seven are attached to each CBG leaving a small amount to form Surface action groups.
