Been up to Marham today to see the Canberras. Could not get to close (if you want to get closer have a look at the Kemble thread) but ill post these pics any way.
I havent touched them up as wanted to get them on here. I had a bit (lot) of a problem with the heat haze so appologise for the quality now.

Rob, I guess that shot of the 2 derelict Tornados makes some people feel old!!
The bits at the back are presumably the remains of the 2 GR.4s that crashed in 2002 & 2004? as the 3rd GR.1 has gone to MOD St Athan.

there was about 10 cars on the top of the hill (the one that looks down on the airfield). I got there approx 10.30 and it didnt get any more crowded. I cant coment on the rest of the viewing spots as i did not move till approx 14.00hrs when most people had gone.
I stood in the same position 13 years ago to watch the Victors as well, it doesnt seem that long ago! I then went to Elvington to watch the Victor land there as well!!
We must have brushed shoulders, I hope you didn’t use the shiny red Golf GTI I had at the time to steady your camera.
I recall that the first Victor took off, turned and as the second one was rolling, came over the top of it, it then climbed to join the first one and they repeated the trick with the third a/c. Unfortunately the three ship pass was at right angles to the runway and quite a way from us, they then proceeded to land from the other direction.
I thought that yesterday the Canberras would apply the same trick, but not to be, sadly after 50 years of Canberra watching, I couldn’t be there yesterday due to work commitments, neither can I go on Monday due to a nasty site meeting, but at least it’s near DX, perhaps they will do an overflight.
I wonder if there are plans for the Coventry based example to do a link up and perform a 4 ship pass, now that would be a sight, my brother from Nottingham, is wracking his brains to find an excuse to see a client they have down there.
I really cannot even begin to imagine the cost of operating 4 Canberras from Coventry, is this really a viable proposition.

couldnt get to close as just after i took this the airfield security came along in their landrover. Yes i was surprised to. If you look to the left you can see a nose cone sitting up on it end.

I was particularly impressed when he went into a vertical climb, I have’nt seen that done before.
He went sort of vertical at Wyton and we thought he was going to loop it but he rolled over to level flight at the top of the climb.
Apologies for quality as it was hazy and I don’t have a long lens.

The event got reasonable coverage on BBC Look East at 18:30 last night, I was particularly impressed when he went into a vertical climb, I have’nt seen that done before.
Were there many people around the airfield, I went to the Victor farewell and it was very busy, we trekked across the fields to the west end of the runway from where they were taking off, it wasn’t a good idea though to stand directly behind a Victor powering up for take off, but some idiots got deafened, singed and blown over.
We also went to the RAF 75th anniversary celebrations which was a complete wash out, because the Queen was on the base, security outside was way over the top and there was a lot of friction between the enthusiasts and the police, to the extent that we hastily retreated to the nearest pub.
