Love those pics Anna, especially the USS Mahan, I think the Arleigh Burke class ships looks really nice. I really should get down to Portsmouth as I haven’t been down there since I was a kid of 14, and beleive me that’s a long time ago! 🙂

Anna, you out do yourself all the time mate, Love the O-Boat, interesting way to display it. Down here we have three of the original six:

Former HMAS Onslow is in Western Australia as a floating museum.
Former HMAS Otama is in Hastings also as a floating museum
Former HMAS Orion is set in the ground in a regional township that has many other sub related items including a WWII Welman X class mini sub.

Great piccies 🙂

Yeah I think a decision won’t be made until 2010, until then in an extended state of readiness.

The second carrier was the Invincible. 😉 Anna 😉

Sadly, she will probably sit there for a very long time – unless she gets sold!

Wonderful pics Anna, I saw Endurance down in Capetown once she is very big for her size, almost like an office block moving through the water. Lussty looks like she is being offloaded and is that Ark the second one there?

Thanks for the comments, The second carrier was the Invincible. 😉 Anna 😉
