I’d be more worried about the ‘Shadows’ than green flares

Mars may be ‘boring’ but the landing of ‘Curiosity’ is like something out of ‘Thunderbirds’! 😀

No Mars bars were made in Slough and Citroens were also manufactured there so it make sense to send a C2. Only problem is they make duff cars for Earth so the chances of it working on Mars are remote!:D

Remember that Mars’ gravity is about 40% of that of the earth. Nevertheless, it was an amazing feat.

Mars itself may be a bit on the dull side but there is something inherently impressive about successfully landing something that weighs more than a Smart Car on another planet!

Most people in the UK would rather have a bag-of-chips than a similar UK mission…..let’s not encourage them!

Mars might be boring but there is plenty of space and where else would you be allowed to play with a RC buggy that has lasers on it?
