Martinair @ STN + a few others

On my way to work at the terminal today, I stopped by for about 45 minutes to catch the Martinair MD-11 on her way back out. Here she is, with a few others thrown in. Despite the Sun shining, the sky was very hazy and hence none of these look particularly blue and Sunny. I have just got in from work very tired, and so have done a quick, crude edit of a few of the ok ones, just before I head off to bed.

You’re not joking about the haze. I was on my way to a gig yesterday and was thinking it would be a great day for photography were it not quite so hazy!

Superb shots us usual Dan. Hopefully there’ll be more to come over the summer!

Thankyou for the kind commens everyone.

It seems ages since we last saw your splendid work on here, Dan.

The first Ryanair shot is my favourite, too. 😀

It has indeed been ages. There’s a lot of commitments at the moment, A-levels, coursework, options after 6th form, flights to book, girlfriend…and phtography is still in there! It was nice to stand out there yesterday aiming my camera at planes again, but it was almost impossible to drag myself away and go to work. Now that the eves are getting longer, it will bring extra photography opportunities.
