I made good use of the sale!

On 31st July I am having a morning in Dublin…literally walk straight round in time to see all of the heavies arrive then depart, and head off again at lunchtime back home (saves sitting around for the rather tedious afternoons at DUB, and covers me a little if the weather is crap!).

4th September I’m taking a day in Dblin with my girlfriend, we had agood time the last time we ventured into the city.

17-18th September I am flying STN-DUB-MAN, doing an afternoon in MAN, thgn staying with Mark L in Leeds overnightand flying home LBA-DUB-STN the day after.

9th October flying over to Esbjerg (Denmark) for 2 days to see my girlfriend’s family who live there.

24th October I’m heading over to Bremen for the day! There’s a free viewing terrace, and an Airbus factory onsite which means almost guaranteed Beluga movements.

All of tose not to mention a daytrip to Gothenburg next Tuesday, a day in Milan next Wednesday, and a few days in Newquay during the Summer with some friends, which were all booked in the previous ยฃ10 single sale. And also 2 days in June with PMN, where we’re flying to Oslo one day, and then STN-ORK-DUB-STN the day after.

23 Ryanair flights in total! Can I do it ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I booked myself another 5 return flights for between now and Oct. Iโ€™m not 100% sure Iโ€™ll travel on ALL 5 return flights but then again it is only a matter of a few pence down the drain.
My main concern was to book a few flights so now I can be picky when I go โ€“ I.e when the weather is good ๐Ÿ˜€

Shame really โ€“ Saleโ€™s all over now ๐Ÿ™

I couldn’t resist… just booked another 3 seats from Luton to Dublin in October. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m a bit confused about when this sale ends. It says “Midnight Monday” – does that mean round about now (even though flights are still bookable) or in 24 hours time?

It means in 24 hours time. Tonight is Midnight Sunday.

Me and 6 mates just booked a day trip to Dublin from Leeds in August – 14p return ๐Ÿ˜€

You can remove the online check-in fee. But at least you’re almost guarantee some decent seats now.

Well you learn something new every day!

I thought Ryanair would be cheaky and either make you pay for online check in or charge for checking in bags. But as you said at least we’l be first to board and get some decent seats ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m tempted to book a few more trips. If I decide not to bother going on the date of departure, it’s not the end of the world if I change my mind!

Me and a mate have just booked our flights also.
Bristol – Dublin for a days spotting and photography and I paid just a mere ยฃ8.04 for the both of us. Very strange though, no debit card fee (paid switch) yet an online check in fee. Still not complaining ๐Ÿ˜€

I’m sure with Ryanair’s latest promotion there will be lots of extra spotting at DUB and trip reports coming this way ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi Michael,

It seems to come up as a matter of course, however when you continue the charges are wiped. Several people have mentione dit that I know of.

Ahh, thanks for that! I’ll shut up now! :p

As I said my card is a Visa DEBIT card and you also do not get charged for using this!

Sorry to bring this up again, but the Ryanair website does suggest otherwise…

Is this the start of the so called lo-co bloodbath ? And if so, will Easyjet react with similar crazy price deals ?

I Hope so!!!:D , I was wondering if Ryanair will release more routes after this load of routes closes at Midnight on Monday??

Well I was suprised to find that although school holidays are part of the blackout period, you can actually book for October half term! So it’s a day trip to Dublin for my partner (whose a teacher) and I. The only problem was deciding when to go and from where. MAN is or closest airport, but the flight times may not give you as much time in DUB as flying from LPL (still relatively close). So my solution, well I booked Tuesday return flights from LPL, and Wednesday return flights from MAN, so I can dump one or the other. But this of course means I have spent a whole 8p instead of 4p!! Better get back to work to make up for it!

I’ll have to book something even for the sake of it so I can say I did. Though by the time I make my way to the nearest airport to me Ryanair serve, might as well not have bothered.

Now, where to go…throw darts at a map maybe and see where I end up?

I booked a few flights to DUB on my mums Debit Card – No DC fee, just the 10p for a few flights, which gets refunded at check-in, apparently.

If you would have read my post properly, you would have noticed that I mentioned “debit card charges”, clearly suggesting that I paid using a debit card.

The only card exempt from these charges is Electron. I’m not sure sure if Connect cards were also on the list.

T5 As I said my card is a Visa DEBIT card and you also do not get charged for using this!, so Electron is not the only card exempt from the charges!!
If you scroll down on the booking list you can clearly see that it says VISA DEBIT!

enough said on the matter, enjoy your flight.Mines a Guiness:D if your in Dublin on 28/6,1/7,4/6,17/10 cost all 8p including no booking fee for using Visa debit:)
