So, standards of Mathematics are falling? What will you score?
I didnβt use a calculator (the test didnβt say either way). No cheating! π

I got 19/20 on this one. Phew! π
(I also think one of the questions is wrong!)

none of you lot are considering compoud time in music for example 12/8 time signiature 12 quaver beats in a bar? :diablo:
or indeed notes that are worth more than four beats
concerning the 8 beat “breve” :p though rarely found in modern composed music
thanks for listening π
19/20 – im pleasantly surprised π

Hah! Only in the verses and even then it’s in split 3/4 – 4/4 time, not 7/4. :p
Hmm… Well all I can say is it’s a damned good thing I have enough natural understanding of feel and rhythm to not have to think about all those confusing numbers. :p

That’s pretty basic stuff
And your result was? Oh yes, you don’t do surveys!:D
Mine was 16/20, should be a factor for age considered!

Iβd never heard the term before either (never studied statistics) but half-guessed the answer based on proportions.
The Wikipedia explanation is:

I was crap at Maths too, but thought it would be a hoot to give it a go…
Can someone tell me what a stratified sample is?
This is a term I’ve never heard of…
Nope, I’ve never heard of it either…
I still managed 17/20.

This is a term I’ve never heard of and as such don’t consider it a fair question.
Oh 17/20

19/20.
By the way is the question no 14 correct
By: tenthije - 11th July 2008 at 22:16
Only mistake I made was mis-naming the triangle, which I consider more a language test then a math test. :p

Can’t wait for the French test π

I’m not even going to attempt it. I’m crap at maths; always have been, always will be and have no problem whatsoever admitting it! π

Donβt worry; the website is promising test in other areas of the curriculum: history, geography, physics, French, RE, music…
Iβll certainly get 0/20 in music! π

YAY!
After 20/20 on the English test can I say how proud I am now of getting 16/20 on the Maths test.
Surprised myself there, was expecting something more like a 10.
