Mavericks on RAF harriers.

Dear all,
AFM May 2001:
Looking at the one picture showing a harrier with 4 mavericks and 4 sidewinders this seems to me like an extremely heavy load for a harrier. Degraded air performance obviously, is this load feasible during an operation such as the air campaign over Kosovo?
Anybody know if sea harriers are planned to be upgraded to maverick capability? I’m sure most of the Brits in here feel this is one of the best additions to the harrier fleet in recnet times.

Any thoughts on the above, all thoughts welcome with preferably no insults!
