Superb shots there mate, would love to catch that tristar sometime up here.
Movements do seem to be quite interesting recently, another AN-12 UR-CBF was in the other day, the 2nd of the month i believe 😀

Chris, looks as if though Newcastle has certainly seen its fair share of decent movements this month this far! Liking all the biz!! the 2 Legacy jets in particular.

A great set of shots Chris. Love the Openskies B752, Air Transat A310 and RAF L1011. Some sunny weather too!

How long have BA 757’s had winglets??

BA “mainline” B757s don’t have winglets, Steve.

Open Skies is a BA subsidiary that intends to take advantage of the US-EU Open Skies agreement to operate transatlantic services from mainland Europe with a small fleet of B757s.

Presumably the winglets have been added to improve fuel efficiency – but I suspect there were aesthetic considerations, too. :diablo:

Awesome to have Air Transat Back at NCL!

Was the Gray Star from today? I had one over hexham this afternoon she must have been setting up for approach to NCL she was rather low!
