Hi guys
What me 109 restorations are going on around the world at the moment?
To my knowledge all i can think of are:
POF Buchon
Has mr charleston still restoring these, and what about the project Guy Black has registered?

Good point Jägermarty, I did put a list together for my second 109 book; perhaps I should get that online. 🙂

What about the very early 109 V…. that was found in a bomb crater and recovered. it’s under restoration but nothing has been heard in years.

Bf-109G-2 (MT-208) at the Finnish Aviation Museum at Vantaa, Finland. Has been since 1999. 😉

I have heard rumor of the 109E-3 being restored for Paul Allens, Flying Heritage Museum, though have not heard an update on that in a while, Here is a list of 109’s to browse through.

The Paul Allen Me109E was finished a few years ago. I’m unsure if it has been flown yet, although I thought I saw it listed on the flying schedule a while ago.

There is some one called Edward Taylor in Middlesborough restoring a 109 I believe, or so I have been told :confused:

D-FWME, ex G-AWHG, ex N3109G looked almost ready for flight last year after the accident in 2005.
