Me109 losses on 25th February 1941

Hi all,
I am trying to determine the identity of a 109 that was shot down/damaged near Dunkirk on the 25th February 1941.
Could anyone help me by supplying details of any losses over France on this date.
According to Joce Millards logbook he claimed an unconfirmed victory over a 109 on this date whilst patrolling Dunkirk with 615 Squadron.
Many thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer.

Hi Andy,
I wasn’t aware that you were in the process of putting a book together, though I did suspect you may be able to help.
There is no time entered in Joces log book.
I will mail you the details I have.

As you possibly know, I am embroiled in a major work on RAF Fighter Command in 1941 (with Chris Goss and Norman Franks) and would suggest two aircraft of II/JG51 as being the only contenders. One pilot killed, the other OK – both landing damaged after combat. I have not yet got to 615 Sqn losses/claims in any detail – or to the German losses of this date – but it would be helpful to know the time details of Joce Millard’s claim to see what fits with the losses.
