Seeking information on the Remains of Me110G-2 at the Osterreichishes Luftfahrtmuseum. This aircraft is believed to have been shot down by a P38 & was recovered from the Neusiedler Sea some years ago. Does anybody have any information on the unit/W/nr/Crew etc of this aircraft.

Shot down on 23.04.44. I was told most of the remains were scrapped in mid 1990’s following a hangar roof collapse – only an engine an prop survive (on display). This info is from 2002 when I was researching 110 survivors.
Never discovered wk.nr or unit, but that info maybe available now, try the TOCH Luftwaffe forum
