The November 2002 edition of Flypast only listed 1 ME262 in the UK. Living in Australia we get our copy a bit late so I hope I’m not too late with this post.
During my time in RAF I remember seeing Me262’s on 2 stations . The first
was at RAF Colerne (1956-7), We use to wheel out an ME 262 and Me 163 on open days, as far as I can recall they resided in the hanger used by Station Flight.
Then later when I was station at Coltishall in the hanger used by the Battle of Britan Flight there was an ME 262, Me 163, HE162 and Fi 156 Storch. Does any one remember these and do we know what happened to them?

RE: ME262 Survivors
There is another 262 in the UK, Paul Allen’s example is in Norfolk awaiting restoration once the 190 is completed, can’t wait for either!

RE: ME262 Survivors
Quite right. The same Me.262 also spent many years at Gaydon, then St.Athan, before finally ending up at Cosford.

RE: ME262 Survivors
The airframes were shifted round wherever there was room, and would have been the same ones.
