Was there a meet last weekend? If so how did it go?
Some of us couldn’t make it and I for one would like to know what the day was like.

Out of interest is Twinwood Farm still used as a private strip?
Whats the former RAE Bedford looking like thee days? Has it become a car park like Upper Heyford?

Hello all,
nice to meet up with everybody. Told you the jeep was capable of driving to Harrington and back!!
Oag, nice to meet you. The sports jobby is currently still enjoying life at Old Warden however it is expected to be back on the road (to recovery?) tomorrow when Rory takes it back home again. Picture attached shows it sharing hangarage with the Gladiator.

There was room in the back of the jeep next to Rory, we’re still thawing out now though. BTW has any one found a copy of missiles with roundels since 1935 by Putnam?

I’m jealous I haven’t got a _ !!
Nice atmospheric shots, shame some Jeep had to be parked in the way. (Was too obvious to miss) 😀
Cracking day out, a big thanks to oag for driving, I really needed to be a passenger for a change.

Oag, you are obviously not a very good judge of character 😀 Good to meet new forumites, and hear slagging off of others :diablo:
Both museums were excellent offering very interesting private tours, but we could have wished for warmer weather as the chattering teeth of the jeep passengers drowned out the guides!!
Any way here are a few pictures before MOTF (what sort of user name is that any way? ) and Robbo get there.
1. Control Tower at Twinwood Farm
2. Next Forum meet vehicle?
3. And our Jeep at Harrington.

Yes, an excellent day out at Twinwoods and Harrington.
I’d recommend both museums to anyone who hasn’t been to either.
Nice to meet you OAG !

yes, mate there was a meet-up last weekend..and most interesting it was too!!!!
Most met up at Old Warden for the obligatory bacon-buttie before heading to the Twinwoods Farm site…loads of Miller memorabilia and other goodies.
The afternoon was spent at the Carpet-baggers museum at Harrington,Northants..another very interesting museum worthy of a second look sometime.
Didn’t take any photos so nothing to post from me…maybe some of the others may do later…how’s about it MotF,Robbo etc????
All in all a good way to spend a Spring Sunday and in darned good company as well
