The latest edition of the Lincolnshire’s Lancaster Association magazine Memorial Flight 2013 has just ‘landed’ through the letter box and a quick glance reveals another excellent publication from Tom A and the team – 100 pages worth!
It features reports from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK; an excellent cover featuring a painting by Mark Postlethwaite GAvA – plus accompanying story about “Painting the Lancaster”; lots of reports; and even a brief mention of Lancaster W4270 being commemorated at Staunton earlier this year! 😉
Well done everyone and as it says on the back cover; “Keep calm and support Lincolnshire’s Lancaster Association”
Now heading off to a well-known aviation museum in eastern Nottinghamshire close to the county border with Lincolnshire! 🙂

I made my decision a long while ago and as it says on the back page of Memorial Flight 2013 – “Keep calm and support Lincolnshire’s Lancaster Association”

Yes, a very good publication, though I’m still undecided about continuing my membership next year; I’m not sure I can justify the cost of both the LLA and the BBMF Club.
