Memorial Stone Wellington R3236

On display today in the Wellington public house in Feltwell, Norfolk is the Memorial Stone for the crew of Wellington R3236 which took off from RAF Feltwell on the 7th July 1940. The memorial stone will be unveiled on the 24th June at Jever airbase in Germany. Full details to be found at:- http://www.r3236wellington.com

The Wellington public house is well worth a visit, not a war time pub but displays a lot of art work and memorabilia connected with the Wellington including an original propeller blade. Also serve local brewed beers with names connected with aviation in the local area.
