I read the story awhile back in the paper…and for the life of me, I don’t know what parts of songs are similar.

Yes, we had to sing the bird song in elementary school, so I know the some somewhat, though I’m no expert on it.

Well, you can’t deny that the tunes are virtually identical,but it’s only a small part of the Men at Work song. I always thought ” Kookaburra ” was an ancient traditional Aussie tune,I well remember my daughter and her friends murdering it at Brownies. Incidentally, I’ve always liked the Australian word ” larrikin “. We don’t have a lot of larrikins in Britain these days .
