Menorca–Aviation history

Off to this island soon for a rest. Interested in the history of the old airport at San Luis(now the Aero Club). used by Iberia and Tassa DC-3s and Aviaco with DC-4s /Carvairs ? in the sixties.
Any snippets gratefully received.
