As the title suggests, does anybody know of any sites where I might pick up a Merlin for my Mobile.

Is the first recording a Lancaster?

Sadly my mobile is only a polyphonic one, so no fancy MP3 ringtones for me!
But, I have just taken the old (recorded 1984!) cassette recording of the BBMF Lancaster that the Linc Lanc Association still sell, and recorded that into MP3 format so it can then be put onto CD. I’d forgotten how good it was with the volume right up- side one with the aircrew on intercom (Captain is Scott Anderson) getting her started, and side 2 recorded from outside the aircraft. Brilliant, room shaking, desk quivering stuff! 😀 Still got the matching Vulcan cassette somewhere, too.

Merlin magic
Just one problem with having a Merlin ring tone, first thing I did today when my phone started ringing was to look skyward to see where the noise was comming from:D 😀 .
Then I got a slap from the missus for not answering her call:diablo: .

Bostin,,,,,,,,,,,
Have saved Merlin as an MP3 and onto my PC, …………………….Help, being total computer illiterate, what do I do next ?????.:D
You need to drag it into your phone, using the software and cable provided.
Or
It may be possible to e-mail it to you phone direct……..not sure about that tho’ (depends on package/phone etc).
Hope that helps.

A missed opportunity there, Merlin Pete!!
Must be getting slow in my old age Stuart!
There are two on my home page, one in flight, and a BBC radio recording of mine which is good quality, access them via the BBC link.
