Hi all , have come across a number of 60 series merlin parts has anyone got access to a parts catalogue .
One part no. is D 32857 can anyone shed any light on what it is , had found a number of starters , coolant pumps , intercooler pumps and a mint glycol header tank .

Correct Mike! It’s called the “Bridge”.
I have the part number for that as D32867.

Yes that’s what it is; I’ve got one as well, all I need is the 60 series blower to go with it……..

That looks like the cross-brace to support the intercooler to me. It’s positioned across the engine, between and at the rear of the cylinder banks and helps take the weight of the intercooler assembly off the main joint onto the blower assembly, if I remember correctly.

I can’t see that number in the 60-63, 66-70, 500, 620 or 24-25 parts books. I could maybe ID it from a photo.
