A second derivative of the Merlin70 has arrived and will appear at an airshow near you.
As usual with such things there was much speculation from those that were massed around the hangar. Questions such as, “does anyone know what’s inside?” and “Do you mind if I just have a quick look?” were followed by “oh lovely” and “I’ll just take a couple of pictures”.
Arrival was delayed by a couple of weeks due to a few last minute adjustments, however the result was well worth the wait.
In answer to the inevitable, “will it be at Legends?”, probably.
The latest member of the Historic Aviation Forum is at present a little too young to manage a log on or wield a camera, but will no doubt join you all in due course.

Now there’s a thing. We go and choose a name and the Pope goes and copies it.
I’ve already wetted his head with Spitfire, I’ll have to have another go with aforementioned Bishops Finger.

Such a good baby they have named a Pope after him.
I that case I’ll wet both their heads with some Bishops Finger tonight 😀 😀

Ok then how about Still (as in Still a Benny!) ?? 😀

Ian
Sounds great initially, but it is likely to be shortened to Griff and people would then think he was a leek. Ducks in anticipation of a volley from a Taff.
At least with Benedict he gets the choice of being Ben if he chooses. Not in favour of Nick’s suggestion of Benny though.

Nick – whilst Dusty might be relevant, we have settled for Benedict James Clark. He weighed in at 9 lbs 10.5 ounces. He is sporting contemporary 21st century European markings.
Ahhh Benny!
Clearly the hangar doors hadn’t been opened fully before rollout.
Waaaaaaaay to much information there my eyes are watering just thinking about it!
