Thought I’d better start a thread wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (this is my last day on the .net for a about a week). It’s been a pleasure being part of this forum these past twelve months and I hope 2006 is going to be a great year for what we believe in.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to everyone, if your’e anywhere near our nice quiet village you will hear George’s new drumkit, Liz’s new keyboard and my banjo let alone all the new cd’s, drowns out Stansted though, going to have a quick preview of Dark Blue World now.

Also wanted to wish all a safe and happy holiday season to all here in the FlyPast Community. Hope 2006 will be a great one for everybody. Always enjoy this board and the great historical information one finds here on a daily basis. Christmas Day always brings my thoughts to the sad loss of Maj George E. Preddy Jr , then the top scoring ace with the 352nd FG. Who lost his life on Christmas Day 1944, while supporting Allied ground forces during the Battle of the Bulge.
