I know my short term……urm what ever it is called is not as good as it was but your quote is not ringing any bells. I have tried selective search on this forum and drawn a blank. Is this from another forum or personal contact?

Please give me another clue, through the moderator if necessary.

Does this picture ring any bells – it was by e-mail at the end of last year. Well, saying “I got you with it” isn’t really fair, but it took a couple of stabs for us to date it and get the mark! 😉

I think the conclusion was a Mk.Vb of 616 at Kings Cliff or West Malling (probably Kings Cliff) between May and July 1942. The chap in the cockpit is my grandfather, Eric Walters, who was a fitter at the time.
