Article “Breakfast with the Boss” BBMF news.

There are 40 guides who all give their time,voluntarily, to lead tours for the public around the RAF BBMF hangar. There is a variety of age and experience, our youngest guide is 59 years old and the oldest guide is in his mid-80’s. Several of the guides are veterans of WWII, so they are able to give first hand accounts of their experiences.

This year was a “Silver Anniversary” for two of our guides, Eric Knowles and Bob Panton; they have both spent 25 years each as volunteer guides for the RAF BBMF.

May we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all at the BBMF, those in the public view and to those working behind the scenes.

Thank you for ALL your hard work during 2011. :D:D:D

Merry Christmas to all the Forumites….and hats off to the BBMF!!!
A spectacular season gentlemen. We in the western wilds of Canada have to be content with our scaled replica Spits. Mk.1 C-FAMY (pictured on my card) is currently down for engine overhaul but will be flying again in the spring of 2012.
