Meteor nears programme launch
Europe’s Meteor beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile programme is
expected to move into its development phase within the next few weeks,
given the anticipated agreement of a contract before or during the 22-28
July Farnborough air show, according to senior officials from MBDA, prime
contractor for the six-nation project.
