Meteor Conversion

Have heard that new pilots coming from FTS (Prentice/Harvard) to AFS (Meteor) may have had some assymetric instruction on Oxfords. Could anybody confirm whether this was the case and at what point it was given?. Also is it correct that Harvards/Oxfords were used on Meteor squadrons for training purposes prior to the introduction of the T7?
