Meteor flying today ?

Heard the sound of a vintage jet about 4pm today NW Bedford. Caught a glimpse of a Meteor ? heading SW about 1500 feet. Chalgrove example or the T.7 ?? grateful for any ideas. May have beena Hunter but I thought they are still grounded ?
