Mexican E-2C's

While the Mexican armed forces are taking new steps to stop illegal traffic by buying these planes from Israel and putting new orders with Embraer for their aircraft, what is going to actually shoot down these illegal flights. Better yet, what is the philosohy behind the Mexican government if its going to detect and track drug runs but not be able to shoot them down? Is it going to use its venerable F-5’s to shoot them down or is the air force thinking of new aircraft to be added to its inventory? I dont’ think so, F-5’s are to few in inventory. Which plane will be best suited for this task? Wich plane is it goping to be…. the Kfir, old and refurbished F-5 from other countries, the Hawk, the L-159, or any other type ? Let’s be realistic, the capabilities for this air force is very limited(along with its budget) what nation will step up to the plate and assist the Mexican air force to help creat an infrasture to operate actual combat jets..is it the US, Israel, Sinagapore or another nation?
