That Spitfire MH434 charity book idea hasn’t gone away.
I’ve been working away on costings, concepts etc. I’m pleased to be able to say we have a publisher, and a plan, and I’m happy to share some of the information next week. Mark12 and I have met, and we have more details to sort, but it’s looking good!
In the meantime, those that pledged help, could you please PM me with an e-mail address, so I can set up a off board group. Please indicate if you wish your e-mail to remain anonymous from the (small, select!) group, or if you are happy to share. If you would like to help, or comment, but don’t want to be part of the group, then please PM me as well.
The idea, for those that don’t know is to raise funds for the Macindoe burns unit at East Grinstead in memory of Mark Hanna, and (secondly) to produce the best book on MH434 – the world’s most famous Spitfire.
By all means post thoughs etc here, but I will be making a statement of what CAN be done on Monday, which will be open for discussion. In the meantime –
