MH434 during BoB movie question

Hi folks!

This sounds extreme, but can anyone tell me what kind of tyres it had during filming? Threaded or smooth?

Also, when it wore AI-H codes on the port fuselage, what codes were on the right side?

Cheers,

Thanks Mark, that solves the wheels problem.

You see, I want to make MH434 as it appeared on page 144 of the “Photo Album” and I’m wondering what was on the other side…

Any idea?

Thanks again for the wheels!!!

Olivier Lacombe,

It had the 10.25 inch block tread grass tyres fitted to the four depression wheels.

AI-H codes? A difficult question but I would shoot for AI-H on the starboard if you are building a model. The codes changed daily. MH434 had at least 12 other confirmed code variations. AI-H was one of the most used with at least seven other aircraft carrying that code during BoB filming. Even EP120 was painted AI-H for a period in ‘Dark Blue World’ to marry into BoB film aerial footage.

Mark
