Best of all, friendly, enthusiastic and informative staff to answer your questions….thanks very much, fascinating day out!
Numbers in the MBCC are limited, but there seemed to be no great problem on Monday…steady, but no queuing to get in.

I made it down there yesterday, well worth the trip, even although the weather was not at it’s best……….!!!
I mainly went to see the Miles Mohawk and was not disappointed. Had a long chat with the guy is working on it, a great researcher with loads of information on this unique aircraft. Looking forward to seeing it complete.
The event has been well supported with about 200 people a day showing up…!! Well done RAFM Cosford !!!

Hampden restoration
How complete is the Hampden?
Any news on the one at East Kirkby? Little seems to have happened to it for a while. IIRC the chap involved passed away?

It really is a great place!
I was lucky enough to have a look round before Christmas.
Now did you spot the serial number(s) on the bigger bits of Hampden? 😉 Also IIRC the Mohawk was Charles Lindbergs European hack??
