I need a little help with info on Egyptian tankers and UAE F-16s.
I read somewhere that the US government was about to approve the sale of KC-135s to the North African nation. According to the small report, these aircraft would be old A variant. I can’t see that happening as this model is far too old to be effective in any kind of way. Would any of the aircraft selected for this sale receive an upgrade to the R standard along with the Pacer Crag package. As well, do any of you know how many airframes would be involved in this deal.

Secondly, the first few F-16E/F Block 60s for the UAE have now been completed and while f-16.net has a few great shots of the two-seat aircraft, I have only seen one picture of a single seater and it didn’t have any CFTs when this particular picture was taken. Will the E model make use of the CFTs and when does the UAE expect to achieve IOC with this aircraft?

Any help will be much appreciated! I am trying to write my first work of fiction and as much as I have found a lot of information, I do sometime get a little discourage if I can’t find what I am looking for. Thanks, cheers.
